About Our Class
Welcome to Thanh Da High School - Class of 1988

The Class of 1988  was graduated from Thanh Da III in 1988. It combined many students from other Elementary Schools such as Cu Chinh Lan, Thanh Da II, Tam Vu, and etc. in 1985. Students were able to choose a foreign language either English or French and based on that selection, they were arranged into 10A1 to 10A7 (for English selection) and 10P1 to 10P2 (for French selection). Students who could not pass the admission test were also accepted to school under a condition that they had to pay tuition. Early school year of 1987, The 11A4 class was dismissed as a result of making school staffs headache by some "good" students. Students from 11A4 class were sent to other classes with a hope to reduce their activities. Therefore,  11A5, 11A6, and 11A7 became 12A4, 12A5, and 12A6.

During the 3 years at Thanh Da  High School, we learned many different subjects. Besides the basic science knowledge (math, physics, chemistry), friendship was a subject that we have learned and valued the most. I believe truly that friendships are still remembered by many of us. Many people have upgraded those friendships to higher level of relationships, the life commitment relationships, the marriage relationships. Some examples are: Hoa`n My~ and Tu`ng, Nguye^n Hoa`ng and Khanh, Bi`nh and Thu?y and more. In a very near future, Quo^'c Kha'nh and Hu+o+ng Anh will marry and start their new life. Please join me to send our warm congratulation to all of them. Best wishes to all of you.

We now live in almost everywhere over the world from America, Europe, to Asia ( I am not sure that there is any Class of 1988 member living in Africa), but we all are carrying the same title: The Class of 1988. With the advanced technologies, we now can easily get in touch with other members via phones, or emails. Please join our Class of 1988  mailing list by sending emails to us at Thanh-da@yahoogroups.com or dpham@cox.rr.com.
